Praying in the times of the Messiah

A major object for prayer and intercession, for vision and hard labour at this present hour is the necessity of a thorough revival unto purpose. The heavenly-minded man, the heavenly-minded woman chooses, chooses repeatedly, to stand with God in the externalisation and fulfilment of his objects and intentions in the creation of a nation for his name. For this task, for this vocation God provides, provides in sending the Spirit of grace and of supplication.

In this incorruptible promise made to the nation of Israel we have the spiritual policy, the strategy and method of Heaven revealed for the accomplishment of an incomprehensible undertaking which includes the turning of a people which may well stand as the epitome of human effort and bravado to its Lord and Messiah. He is going to, God will do a work in the times of the Messiah which is of such a dimension that no dreamer will be able to think rightly of its proportions, but will easily be comprised and helped to its final conclusion by hearts longing for its reality in the coming of the Messiah, in the return of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Waiting is the key. Waiting is the work. Waiting, dynamic waiting is the discipline to be mustered. Waiting on God is the state of being which pleases God and brings both beginning and end in the matter of the controversy of Zion, in the necessary revival unto purpose.
